Chevy's Compact SUVs
- 2005 Equinox
New for 2005. The front wheel drive Equinox is equipped with a standard V6 engine and five-speed automatic transmission. Its 3.4L V6 engine is rated at 185 hp and 210 lb.-ft. of torque. Equinox is larger than many of the SUVs in the compact segment.
- 2005 Blazer
Blazer is available as a two-door for 2005 in three trim levels, from base to sporty. It's equipped with a 4.3L V6 engine and your choice of two transmissions. The Autotrac system is available on on 4WD models. Four-door blazers are only available for fleet sales.
Mid Size Chevy SUVs
- 2005 TrailBlazer
TrailBlazer comes standard with a 4.2L inline six-cylinde engine rated at 275 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque. A new Vortec V8 engine is available on TrailBlazer EXT, and ups the vehicle's towing capacity to a maximum of 7,000 pounds.
Other changes include a new design for seats and other interior components and new trim features. GM’s OnStar system is standard on all modesl.
Full Size Chevy SUVs
- 2005 Tahoe
The 2005 Tahoes all have a rear liftgage with lift-up rear glass. The side-sill assist steps have been redesinged for 2005. Other new features are an optional stereo system with touch-screen navigation. GM’s OnStar safety and security system is standard in all 2005 Tahoes.
Suburban has many of the same enhancements you'll see on the Tahoe, including new side steps, the new stereo system, OnStar as standard eqipment, and a rear liftgate with flip-up glass on all models.
Crossover, Mid-Van
- 2005 Uplander
Uplander offers drivers the look of an SUV with a van's interior. You'll find seven-passenger seating with foldable and removable second and third-row seats, plus a 50/50 split-stowable third-row bench seat that folds flat when you're hauling cargo.
Interior features include an overhead rail storage system, a standard DVD rear-passenger entertainment system, and an optional rear convenience center and cargo system.
