Chevrolet created a new website dedicated to its 2014 Silverado trucks, scheduled for release sometime in late 2013. View photos and get an overview of the truck's specs -- although many of the details aren't available yet. You'll find a 'build your own truck' tool, along with an area to sign up for updates. A favorite from the page -- the first video you'll have access to, offering a glimpse of the durability tests a new design must endure before pickups are ready for release.

Lots of gingerbread nonsense for 2014. Wonder if the brake lines and fuel lines are rusting through and the defective heads are still porous and leaking water likew my 2004? Do the steering shafts still rattle and do the cheap vinyl door panels still crack. Are the lousy brakes and rotors any better?
I don’t need gadgets just a truck that lasts 150K, not one that needs an engine at 65000 and all the brake lines replaced. At least Toyota recalls theirs and attempts to fix the problems.
