Ford Recalling Ford F-150 and Lincoln Mark LT Trucks
More than 650,000 Trucks Recalled to Repair Faulty Brake Hose

May 14, 2008

Ford is recalling more than 650,000 F-150 and (Lincoln) Mark LT trucks to repair an intake manifold brake hose that could detach and eliminate the assist function that sends extra power to the brakes. If that happens, drivers could stop the truck by applying extra force to the brake pedal.

The recall affects just over 600,000 trucks in the U.S. and about 50,000 trucks in Canada. Eleven minor accidents have been reported so far.
