How the Step Daddy Tailgate Ladder Works

The Step Daddy Ladder was designed to make it easier for you to climb in and out of a truck bed. Made up of a ladder and a fold-up grab handle, you simply flip it to the pavement when it's needed. When not in use, lift the ladder, swing it 90-degrees, hook it to a holding tab on the tailgate and close the gate. To remove the ladder entirely, swing it another 90 degrees and lift -- the ladder slides out of its tailgate mount.

The mount and the hook tab are attached to the tailgate with 12 screws (provided in the package). Ladder length can be easily adjusted, but when stored it must be short enough to allow the tailgate to close.

All parts are powder-coated for weather protection. The suggested retail price for the Step Daddy tailgate ladder is $179.99.
