Bedliner Modifications

Truck bedliners must be notched for clearance of RETRAX rollup unit.

A Few Modifications

The RETRAX instructions inform you that you must make slight modifications to bedliners to create clearance for the unit, but since all bedliners are different the company can't actually give you a template or tell you exactly where to trim.

My truck has a molded bedliner. In order to install the RETRAX bed cover I notched the bedliner at both front corners so that the retractable unit would fit properly.

I slid the unit in place and crawled underneath it in order to determine where to trim the bedliner. It took a little time but was not difficult to do. I used a jigsaw to make the cuts, but using a Dremel tool would probably make the job easier.
