I've seen the X-ramp before, but hadn't watched a demo until traveling to the SEMA Offroad show. The X-ramp is a portable stairs mechanism that mounts to your truck's tailgate. Pull the unit all the way out and it becomes a ramp for you mower, motorcycle or 4-wheeler. Partially unfold it as shown above when you need stairs, and the stairs will become steeper or shallower depending on how far you pull the X-ramp out.

The X-ramp will hold up to 1,200 pounds and has a quick-release system to help you get it off the truck in a hurry. Fold it up and onto the tailgate, then shut the tailgate and the X-ramp goes into the bed.
