The Tundra Dually was introduced at SEMA in 2007 and shows what could happen if Toyota decided to outfit a truck with a diesel engine and driveline from a Hino commercial truck.
About the Tundra Diesel Dually
- CrewMax Tundra with a 6.5-foot bed on a lengthened frame
- 8.0L diesel from a 35,000 pound Hino work truck
- Eaton 5-speed manual transmission

Toyota Motorsports also modified the truck's bed, adding large external fenders to accommodate the dual rear wheels. A Reese fifth-wheel hitch adds to the Tundra's heavy duty capabilities.
