The Jeep Hurricane concept wasn't even on the 2005 NAIAS schedule. Its introduction began when someone came onstage and began to operate a RC vehicle, followed by a Jeep exec who said he thought he'd like to see something a little larger. The exec hit a button on a remote in his own hands and a roar came from behind the curtain -- the sound of the Hurricane's two HEMI engines. The curtains opened and the Hurricane was spinning around in place, showing off its zero turn radius. Chrysler always has well staged auto show introductions, and the Hurricane release was no exception.
