Trucks like Ford's Explorer Sport Trac can be a good trade-off for drivers who need to haul things occasionally but who don't necessarily need a full size truck bed to do it. The truck moves people in front and back seats pretty comfortably and it has a cargo box that measures just over 4 x 5 feet. You can buy an optional cover from Ford or get one from an aftermarket auto parts manufacturer. Ditto with a bed extender -- flip the tailgate down and mount the extender to the truck to keep longer cargo in the bed.
Ford made some changes to the Sport Trac truck for 2007, so we had two of our review team take a look for you. They each picked up on different aspects of the truck, making both test drives good reads.
