Street Rod Look Continues Inside

There are two rows of seating inside the Sport Trac concept--four bucket captain’s chairs separated by a front and rear center console with storage.

The two-tone interior is in Light Ice blue and Midnight Navy. The light blue leather seats have navy embossed mesh on the seat backs. Inserts are trimmed with contrasting navy stitching. The two-tone scheme is continued throughout the truck's interior.

Gauges are housed in a singe oval area, speedometer and tach side by side. Audio and climate controls are positioned at the center of the instrument panel, just in front of the floor-mounted shifter. Polished aluminum is used as a trim in many areas.

Ford will introduce the Sport Trac concept at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. I plan to be there for a close-up look.
