1953 Jeep CJ-3B

The Jeep CJ-3B became available in 1953, the same year the company was sold to Henry J. Kaiser for $80 million. The CJ-3B had a taller front grille and hood than earlier models in order to fit the new Hurricane F-Head 4-cylinder engine underneath. The CJ-3B was produced until 1968, with 155,494 vehicles manufactured in the US.
