2007 Detroit Auto Show, NAIAS

Held in January each year, the North American International Auto Show in Detroit is one of the most important auto shows for the introduction of new production and concept vehicles. The NAIAS is open to the public after its press and industry events take place.

Take a look at past introductions from the Detroit auto show.

About the NAIAS Show

2006 SEMA Show, Las Vegas

SEMA is a massive auto show that's held each fall in Las Vegas, Nevada. It's a major event where companies that specialize in aftermarket accessories and customization show their stuff to potential wholesale buyers. The 2006 show included over 2 million square feet of exhibitor space.

Some SEMA exhibitors hold educational seminars and events -- this year Toyota let us drive the FJ Cruiser in an off-road setup. Overhaulin' was there, doing their thing with a 1972 Dodge Challenger. SEMA is not open to the public.

Chicago Auto Show

The Chicago Auto Show is held each year in early February -- 2007 is the show's 99th anniversary. There's a media preview, but after that the show is open to the public.

Los Angeles Auto Show

The Los Angeles Auto Show has been around for a hundred years, but starting this year it will be held in mid-December. Cars Guide Aaron Gold covered the 2006 show -- take a look at his photo gallery for a look at new vehicles.

New York Auto Show

The 2007 New York Auto Show will take place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. The show will be open to the public from April 6th - 15th.
