On a 2007 trip from Fairbanks, Alaska, to Vancouver, British Columbia, the FCHV averaged 300 miles per tank of hydrogen, but I can't find a reference that tells me how much hydrogen it takes to fill the tank.

Toyota made the trip to find out how reliable the FCHV would be during during real driving conditions. It helped them evaluate its capabilities in cold weather, both starting and driving, learn how rough driving conditions affected the vehicle, and see how capable it was during extended periods on the road.
