2012 Nissan Titan Pickup Trucks
In recent years, Nissan has focused on refining the Titan rather than making big changes to the truck, and that mindset continues for 2012.
The 2012 Nissan Titan is still offered in King Cab and Crew Cab bodies. The King Cab has a 79.1 inch long bed, while the Crew Cab is fitted with either a 67.3 inch bed or a long wheelbase version that measures 87 inches. Both
King Cab trucks have rear doors that are hinged at the back and can open 168 degrees, wider than some and a big help when you need to load a large object into the rear seating area.
Titan can be purchased in one of four feature-escalating trim levels.
The package also includes a lockable bedside storage compartment, splash guards and auto on-off headlights. PRO-X's grille and bumpers are body colored and you'll see PRO-X decals on the bed sides.
Inside the PRO-X you'll find white-faced gauges, seats with PRO-X embroidered into their backs (leather is an option) and red stitching on the shift knob and steering wheel.
SL Titan trucks have heated power outside mirrors (with a power fold-in feature) and built-in turn signals.
You can upgrade a truck more within each package.
An Equipment Package is a popular add-on for S model Titans, and includes cruise control, 18-inch alloy wheels and a receiver tow hitch with 7-pin trailer wiring harness. On the King Cabs, the package includes a sliding rear window and tinted rear door glass. On the Crew Cab, it adds a front overhead console and remote keyless entry.
For the SV Titan truck, you can choose the Value Truck Package with front cloth-covered captain's chair seats, console with floor mounted shifter, a fold-flat passenger seat back, 8-way power drivers seat, fog lights, Bluetooth and steering wheel mounted audio controls. The package also includes an auto-dimming inside mirror with a compass, rear sonar, trailer hitch with wiring and, on Crew Cab models, rear heat/ac vents.
The SV Utility Package has a lockable bedside storage compartment, Utili-track bed channel system with four cleats, a bed light, a 12 volt power port in the bed and spray-in bedliner.
The SV Premium Utility Package shifts the Utility Package a step upwards, adding a Rockford Fosgate audio system, HomeLink, XM radio, power adjustable pedals, heated extended tow mirrors and a heavy duty battery.
The SV Sport Appearance Package is another option. New for 2012, it includes 20-inch alloy wheels and a different grille, both with a dark silver finish. On the outside, the package adds black step rails, lockable bedside storage, black exterior door handles and mirrors as well as body colored wheel arch moldings and body colored front and rear bumpers. Inside, you'll find PRO-4X style seats (with silver stitching), white-faced gauges, a fold-flat passenger seat back, a console with floor shifter and a leather wrapped steering wheel with silver stitching. The driver's seat is 8-way power adjustable and all seats carry the Titan logo. Fog lights, rear sonar, Bluetooth and floor mats are also included.
A Technology and Entertainment Package is available for SL or PRO-4X trucks, and adds a moon roof, Navigation system, flip down 8-inch LCD screen and a DVD system (includes auxiliary input and wireless headsets).
