Ram Trucks will release a new member to its popular Ram 1500 pickup lineup. Not yet named, but coded Adventurer for now, the new truck is designed for first time buyers and buyers who are interested in performance on a budget.
The new pickup will have a lower price tag than some other Rams, but it won't be a stripped-down truck. Ram's going for a sporty look, with a HEMI V8 as standard equipment. Body-color bumpers, a body-color grille with black inserts, chrome tipped dual exhaust and 20-inch wheels will add to the sporty appearance. Heavy duty shocks, front and rear stabilizer bars and power rack and pinion steering should help the pickup live up to its performance and sport image.

The new Ram truck will be offered as a regular cab/short bed and in either 2- or 4-wheel drive. The base price for the 2-wheel drive model is should be about $23,830. Watch for the truck on dealer lots during the second quarter of 2011.
