You can expect to hear some engine noise when you're on the road in the GMC Canyon, more so than you typically notice in larger trucks or SUVs, but the engine performs well and the transmission shifts smoothly. The Canyon's ride will get rougher on secondary roads -- that's typical of any compact truck with stiff suspension.

The Canyon's large rear headrests tend to obstruct the view out of the truck's rear window. Improve visibility by folding down the back seats or removing the headrests when you don't have rear passengers.

Head curtain side air bags are available.

GM's OnStar is available on all Canyon trucks and standard on SLE and SLT models.
