One big change is the addition of the Tundra Grade pickup truck, a variation available for the Double Cab Tundra and the even larger CrewMax. Last year, those models were only available in SR5 and top of the line grades. The Tundra Grade is right below SR5 vehicles, allowing Toyota to offer the trucks at a reduced price.
More Standard Features on SR5 Tundra Trucks
The SR5 Tundra Double Cabs and CrewMax trucks now include more features as standard equipment. Power bucket front seats, an AM/FM stereo with a 6-disc CD changer, a cold kit, heated mirrors, and mud guards -- all optional in 2007 -- are now standard.
Tundra Limited Grade Standard Features
Tundra Limited Grade Double Cab and Crew Max trucks also have more standard features for 2008: you can add front and rear parking sonar, cold kit, and mudguards to the SR5 standard equipment list -- at a lower price.
Tundra Grade Work Truck
If you're looking for a work truck, and a low price, look at the Tundra Grade regular cab. It's outfitted with a new chrome bumper and matte-black grille, which replace the 2007's shiny black front bumper and grille surround.
