Chrysler at SEMA, 2010
Chrysler's 2010 SEMA trucks were introduced at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, an annual nine-day off-roading event. Thirty-one trails are available to drivers, and they're all rated for difficulty on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 described as let the carnage begin -- you'll know up-front if your truck is built to navigate the terrain. The Mopar Ram Runner was inspired by Baja-style desert racing, with oversize tires and plenty of ground clearance. Its suspension system was beefed up to withstand the impacts that are common during a desert race. A low center of gravity and long wheel travel add to the package.
Fiberglass parts replaced the truck's front fenders and rear bed-sides.
