Mark LT on Two Wheels?
When this black Mark LT truck rolled onto Lincoln's stage at the 2005 NAIAS in Detroit we didn't know that another vehicle would ride out to sit beside it. Not another truck, but a ruby-red custom chopper designed by Orange County Choppers, a company you might be familiar with from their Discovery Channel show "American Chopper."
The Teutul family--Paul Sr., Paul Jr., and Mike--designed and built the motorcycle in their New York shop during a 3-week period in December, 2004. Its Detroit auto show intro marked the first glimpse of the bike for most Lincoln execs, who seemed very excited about the finished product.
After it left the stage, the metallic red chopper was put on display with a Mark LT truck of the same color. The duo made a pretty impressive display, attracting a steady stream of spectators.
