Detroit Auto Show Debut

Honda officially introduced its Ridgeline pickup truck at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The new truck will be in dealer showrooms by about March, 2005, and will be considered a 2006 model.

The Honda Ridgeline is a real truck, not a truck look-alike on a car platform. Its full frame, rigid body construction and some interesting features should make it a true competitor in the light truck segment.

The Ridgeline will most likely carry a price tag in the range of $27,000 to $32,000. Honda expects to sell 50,000 Ridgeline trucks during its first twelve months on the market.
