In the Driver's Seat of the Dodge Ram Mega Cab

Although the Mega Cab is marketed as a working truck, the targeted buyer appears to be a lifestyle-oriented, 40-something professional who's going to use his vehicle as a mobile office weekdays and for recreation weekends. It's available with all the upscale features you'd have found only on a luxury vehicle a few years ago, including a DVD entertainment system, power sliding rear window and SIRIUS satellite radio.

The cabin is absolutely immense. row legroom is a limo-like 44.2". For what has to be a first in the pickup market this year, the rear seatback recline`s up to 37 degrees.

The rear doors open 85 degrees. The split 60/40 rear seatback can be folded down and forward with one very simple motion. The carrying space this creates has to be seen to be believed. Dodge claims 72.2 cubic feet of interior cargo volume.

There's also lots of lockable space inside the cab including a huge flat console space between the front seats that can serve as a table for a laptop. A flat folding armrest between the two rear seats can also serves the same purposes.

A great deal of sound insulation has been added this year to reduce road and wind noise. The cabin is as quiet as many sedans.
