2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab Review & Test Drive

The Mega Cab is a new, more upscale line within the Dodge Ram family of pickups. It slots in above the Ram regular cab and the Quad Cab. It comes in the same three models (1500, 2500 and 3500) and trim levels (SLT and Laramie). Base engine on the 1500 and 2500 is the 345hp HEMI (with MDS). The 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel is an expensive (but recommended) option on the 2500; it’s standard on the 3500. Both 2WD and 4WD versions of all three models are available.
