The V-8 equipped Volvo XC90 competes head on with BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus in North America. What makes this V-8 engine noteworthy is Yamaha makes it. Though pricey, the XC90 V-8 represents decent all round value in the full size SUV market but its mpg is appalling. Available in both 5 and 7 passenger seating, the all wheel drive XC90 offers advanced safety features including roll over protection and engineered crumple zones for extra crash protection. MSRP: $45,840; Warranty: 5/50,000.
