My test car was loaded. It came with the “SE Touring Package,” a $4250 option package that included heated leather seats, a power sunroof, keyless ignition and power adjustable pedals, among other cool options. Underneath all of the options, there’s a really comfortable, well-designed interior. The driver’s seat is great. Wide and supportive, it has a myriad of adjustments, great for a long ride. The back seat is also comfortable, with room for three average-sized adults. Leg and headroom in the back seat is ample, and my passengers raved about the smoothness of the ride.

The dashboard is straightforward and clear, with a cluster of big analog gauges facing the driver from above the steering wheel. The center stack is topped with a monitor which displays information about the car’s fuel consumption, radio settings, maintenance schedule and other tidbits. Choose the optional $2350 Technology Package and the screen is upgraded to 7” color with DVD Navigation and a rearview camera which activates when the vehicle is put into reverse – very handy in a car with a rising beltline. Radio and climate controls are neatly arranged below the screen. The interior features real aluminum alloy accents. All in all, a classy, functional cockpit.
