Functional design lights my fire. The 2005 Honda Element EX is all about function. Talk about a car with no fat, no design for design’s sake, and you’re talking 2005 Honda Element EX. After a week with the Element, I was still discovering clever functional features, smart low tech solutions to everyday challenges. For a base price of $19,525 ($20,040 as tested) with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty, the Element is a great case study for what happens when a company puts new thinking inside the box.
