Chevy Announces SSR Truck Pricing Cutaway Gives You An Inside Look at the Chevy SSR |
01/03/03 - Chevy's new SSR will start shipping to dealers in the summer of 2003. Chevy announced today that it will have a base manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $42,995, which includes a $625 destination charge.
There's no word yet on pricing for optional equipment or for the SSR Signature Series models.
The retro looking SSR is part open-air roadster and part pickup. A retractable hardtop stores vertically in a compartment between the passenger and rear storage compartments.
The Signature Series will consist of 25 vehicles, the first saleable production vehicles. One-of-a-kind pedigrees will be created for each of the vehicles, which are expected to be used in high-profile activities prior to being offered for sale.
