Dodge Ram 1500 Wins Multiple Awards

The Dodge Ram 1500 pickup recently picked up awards from three major publications.

• Sport Truck Magazine has named it their "Truck of the Year"

• MONEY Magazine's 2003 Car Guide calls the truck the "Best Pickup"

• And the truck received the "AAA Auto Guide" award in the truck category

Sport Truck Magazine compared the Dodge Ram 1500 with the Chevy Avalanche, GMC Sierra, Nissan Frontier, Toyota Tacoma and others, saying "Dodge Ram was the only one that had obvious styling cues taken from sport truck enthusiasts" and that "it's easy to envision this truck lowered and customized."

Lawrence Ulrich of MONEY Magazine wrote, "The roomiest cab, the strongest engine, the biggest brakes, the best ride and handling - no wonder the Ram tops our pickup roster."

AAA commented, "If you're shopping for a full-size pickup - whether for work or play - the Dodge Rams have the good looks, performance and creature comforts to hold their own against anything on the market."
