The NHTSA has issued another request for owners of vehicles affected by Ford's cruise control recall -- get them in for repair! The safety agency says that several million owners still haven't responded to Ford's recall notices, and wants to remind those owners that cruise control systems in their cars, trucks and SUVs are a fire risk.
Possible Warning Signs Before a Fire
- Cruise system won't activate or stops working
- Brake lights stop working
- Low brake fluid
- ABS and brake warning lights illuminated on dash
- Inability to get the vehicle out of park
