Chevy's SSR roadster truck didn't last long, and I'd honestly forgotten about it until last week, when I saw two of the trucks on the same day. SSRs weren't practical, but they were unique, and I liked their retro lines. Most of the SSRs I see on the road look brand new, like they're only driven occasionally. You have to wonder if Chevy will try a breakout design again (or if maybe someone will move forward to build something like the axed Pontiac G8). Just over 24,000 SSRs were built between 2003 and 2006.
