Toyota Recalling 3.8 Million Vehicles for Floor Mats
Toyota plans to recall 3.8 million vehicles in the United States, because factory removable floor mats can interfere with the accelerator and lead to a crash. The largest U.S. recall in Toyota history affects several models, including 2005-2010 Tacoma trucks and 2007-2010 Tundra trucks. Other vehicles involved in the recall: 2007-2010 Camry, 2005-2010 Avalon, 2004-2009 Prius, 2006-2010 Lexus IS250 and IS350 and 2007-2010 Lexus ES350.
Toyota recommends that owners remove the driver's side floor mat. You'll receive a letter from Toyota if your vehicle is included in the recall.
