Trailer Hitch Components

Wednesday July 22, 2009
trailer hitch partsWhen you shop for a trailer hitch you'll find there are different systems to choose from. My truck is outfitted with a receiver type hitch, which has one component that's permanently attached to the pickup and a draw bar that slides into it when I'm ready to tow, but can be removed when I don't want to leave it sticking out behind the vehicle. A walk through the gallery will give you a pretty good preview of the parts associated with this type of hitch system.
