Quick Look at Ford's EcoBoost Technology

Ford EcoBoostFord based the design of its turbocharged EcoBoost system on existing technology, but made significant changes to produce a more powerful engine that offers a (projected) 20-percent fuel savings and a 15-percent decrease in emissions. Ford classifies EcoBoost as a "near-term solution," one that's available now, and can be quickly put in place while other technologies are developed.
