Has Your Ford Truck Cruise Switch Been Fixed?

Friday December 26, 2008
If you've been putting it off, make a New Year's resolution to get your Ford, Lincoln or Mercury truck to the dealer to take care of the cruise switch recall repair. Twelve million trucks, vans and cars are still equipped with components that could potentially catch fire anytime, whether or not the vehicle is running or sitting cold in the garage.

When Ford began to push the recall, dealers were deactivating cruise systems but not repairing them -- parts are now available for final repairs. If you've been waiting for a true fix, and didn't want to be without cruise, give your local dealer a call to set up an appointment.
