2008 Chevy Avalanche, Pictures & Updates

It went through massive changes in 2007, so don't expect too many updates to the 2008 Chevy Avalanche. One tweak was a positive safety move -- side curtain air bags are now standard on all models. The Avalanche is a good drive, and a vehicle you should take a look at if you haul cargo occasionally, but don't need a pickup truck with a full-time standard bed. And speaking of the bed -- its high sides created somewhat of a visibility block for me, but they don't seem to bother other drivers, so be sure to check that out for yourself when you go for a test drive.
