I have a 2003 F-150, and I spend a lot of time driving brand new trucks that are packed with amenities, but what do I buy when it's time for another vehicle? A 1951 Ford project truck that I haven't even seen in person yet. There's no heater, it's a given that the truck will steer hard, the wipers don't work, and I know I'll find plenty of other things to deal with when I start working on it. But the truck runs and it appears to be solid -- a real good start for a restoration project. I'm not too concerned about the mechanical repairs -- I can do all of that, but body work is another story.
