Off to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas

Hi everyone. This is Janet, Dale's wife. I'm the Guide over at About Quilting, so I usually spend my time on the sites in that channel. Dale's off to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week so I'll be working on photos as he sends them and trying to keep this site updated with news from the show. If you're not familiar with the term SEMA, it's short for Speciality Equipment Market Association. The organization's annual show is an important event for accessory and customization businesess, who meet there every year to show off their new products--sometimes in booths and sometimes by way of customized vehicles. Jason from About SUVs is there, and so is Jim from the Offroad site. I'm sure they'll have lots of show news for you too. The show doesn't start until tomorrow, so for today I looked at the archives and pulled in a few links to custom vehicles from last year's show.

SEMA 2005: Honda showed over fifty vehicles in all last year and a good portion of them were Customized Honda Ridgeline Trucks like the Team Honda Motocross Ridgeline. Land Rover got into the action with the Technicolor Range Rover Sport Supercharged, and there were quite a few General Motors vehicles there too. The HUMMER H3 Rugged is a good looking vehicle and so are all of the customized HHRs that were shown. It'll be interesting to see this year's trucks and truck accessories--although I know one of Dale's must-do stops will be to the area where Carroll Shelby is hanging out--he's a huge fan. -Janet
