Restoring Dull & Cloudy Headlamps

Monday August 21, 2006
Plastic headlight assemblies take a beating from a mix of ultraviolet rays, acid rain and everyday road grit. A dull finish sure looks bad -- and doesn't put out a whole lot of light on the highway. I decided to try a restoration product before investing $100+ for each new headlight on my old truck. It worked real well, removing most of the cloudiness on the fogged lenses.

I’ve noticed that my headlights are dull and cloudy. They don’t light up the road very well.

Elena, you could try a product like this. There are more than one type on the market. I noticed a pretty big difference after treating mine.
