2006 Ford F-150 King Ranch Test Drive
Tuesday June 20, 2006
When you talk about the best-selling pickup truck in America, you're talking about the Ford F-150, number one in sales for nearly three decades. I've had two, a 1997 Lariat model and the truck I currently own, a 2003 F-150. They've both been dependable and capable of towing and hauling pretty much anything I put behind them or throw in the bed. My wife will tell you that she's not as fond of the newer truck, because it doesn't have a seat lift option to take her vision as far above the steering wheel as she'd like. That control's not missing on the King Ranch. It's a luxury version of the F-150 with plenty of options. Jason Fogelson's driven several trucks for us lately, passing on his take on each truck's feel and performance.
