Hello From Detroit
Sunday January 8, 2006
I arrived in Detroit yesterday to attend the 2006 North American International Auto Show, called NAIAS for short, one of the most important annual shows for new vehicle introductions. There are plenty of trucks, cars and SUVs scheduled to be unveiled and displayed at this year's show, so stop back over the next few days for a close up look at as many as I can cover.
I'll focus on trucks and SUVs, but there are some cars that I want a close look at, including the Dodge Challenger concept, Ford's 2006 Shelby GT500, the next generation Toyota Camry and the new Camry hybrid. Jeep will intro four new vehicles at the show. The Ford group has several other things to show us--its F-250 Super Chief concept truck looks pretty interesting. Overall it looks like a very good show for 2006.
