2005 Tacoma Named Best New Pickup of 2005 by Canadian Journalists
Sunday December 12, 2004
Philip, our Guide to Vintage Cars, is an automotive journalist who lives in Canada. He emailed a note to me today that the 2005 Toyota Tacoma was just named Best New Pickup Truck of 2005 by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC).
The new Tacoma is larger, more powerful, gets better gas mileage and is better equipped than previous models. It can tow up to 6,500 pounds, a 30-percent increase over the 2004 Tacoma's towing capacity. With eighteen different configurations based on three cab styles, Toyota fans are sure to find a Tacoma that suits them.
Working as a Toyota Service Manager, I can tell you first hand that the trucks are selling well and their new owners have great things to say about them. Read the facts about the new Tacoma and take a look at the Tacoma photo gallery.
